Aaks means reflection.

Manat Raheja chose the name because it reflected her: a designer first and a maker of pieces that reflect the woman they are made for rather than a trend or a season.

The story

Made on a whim, built with intent

AAKS opened its doors in Karnal less than a year ago. The idea was older: a love of designing that had been there all along and a decision one day to stop waiting and make it real.

Today the studio makes contemporary ethnic wear, luxury occasion outfits and ready to wear pieces, with custom orders for women across India and overseas. Every piece is cut to the person wearing it.
